Description: Explore alcohol ink and its application to create a one-of-a-kind floral painting on Yupo paper. In this class, students will use inks to mimic watercolor's effect of expressive blending and blurred details in bold and vivid colors and draw from flower references to emphasize a flower's properties like petal shape, stems, and floral groupings. Students will experiment with ink application and leave with a basic understanding of how to pursue the medium further.
At the end of class, students will receive an 11" x 14" matte package for their painting, perfect for popping in a frame!
