At Making Waves Art Studio, WE GET IT. We know that you have unlimited caretaking responsibilities and it’s hard (sometimes even impossible) to find the extra energy to plan enrichment activities for your family. We also know Creativity is Essential to the emotional and intellectual development of our kids and to the closeness of our families. We believe that Creativity = Calm, Confidence & Connection.
Making Waves Art Studio is designed and owned by Katie Hujer. Katie is an experienced art educator and busy mom of 3 kids under 7. After teaching art in public school classrooms for over a decade, Katie created Making Waves Art Studio to help you enjoy creative time with your family, without the hassle. Our current offerings of creative experiences include In-Person Art Classes, Workshops & Camps, Drop In Art Making, In-Studio Birthday Parties & Off-Site Art Making Events.
